Little Sutton School, Worcester Lane, B75 5NL. £2.50 per player. Megan Bailey and Abi Holt (3rd from right) worked tirelessly to compose a social netball team and intra mural team at the University of Birmingham. They provided training every week for the social team in the lead up to the SHOTS Netball Tournament at the Copper Box Arena at the Olympic Park on March 3, 2016. The enthusiasm and dedication of Megan and Abi was validated by the exceptional performances given by the social team in the tournament where they won three, drew two and lost two matches. Their losses were only by a single point and they came joint 3rd overall! Megan and Abi are a perfect example of how student leadership can improve sport provision and motivate more students to get involved. If you are off to University, please consider an UNO role. Goalden Globe Award nominations are now open. If you would like to recognise the outstanding contributions that Birmingham volunteers make to our sport, please go to the Awards Section. Closing date is 1st May 2016. As the website has progressed through its refurbishment we are opening new and exciting sections to the website!
The most recent new section is the the Billesley & King Heath Little League! It has started and is welcoming new players! Click Here to visit the new section which is packed with lots of useful information! |
